Picking a gift for a chief investigator
A chief investigator usually sits at the top of a case team, which means long days of reviewing reports, chasing leads, and making the call on what goes forward. They're the person who gets the late-night phone calls and carries the weight when a case gets hard. A gift that acknowledges that role lands well. A tee or hoodie with their title and agency or unit name on it shows you understand what the job takes, and it's a comfortable thing to wear on the days they're off the clock. Add a second line with their name, a badge number or the year they took the role, and the shirt becomes theirs. A mug works nicely for the early-morning briefing, and a dark tee suits the field work they do after hours. Keep the wording simple and accurate to their own title so it reads as respect, not a joke.
Chief Investigator gift questions
Can I add their name or agency to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line for a name, unit or year. Type it in and the preview updates so you can check the spacing before you order.
Is chief investigator a good title for a graduation or promotion gift?
It can be. A promotion to this role is a natural moment for a hoodie or mug, and adding the year they took the position marks the milestone.
Can I order for a whole investigations team?
Yes. Pick one design in the Team Shop, paste the names of everyone on the team, and choose a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the chief investigator shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a chief investigator gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
