Picking a gift for a child care nurse
Child care nurses work in pediatric units, NICUs, and hospital nurseries, and sometimes in the bedside care of kids through long stays and hard news. They spend shifts on their feet, get up with babies at all hours, and often carry a lot home with them. The gifts they keep tend to be the ones that feel like they were picked by someone who understands that. A soft tee for a day off, a hoodie for the chilly break room, a mug that's clearly theirs so it doesn't wander off the unit. Put the word child care nurse on the front and add the setting they work in on the second line, like pediatrics or NICU, so it reads as their job rather than a generic shirt. If you're buying for a whole team, one design with each person's name on their own shirt makes a better thank-you than another tray of snacks. Child care nurses are often honored during National Nurses Week in May, which is also a busy time to order.
Child Care Nurse gift questions
Can I add a setting like NICU or pediatrics to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so type the unit or setting there. The preview updates so you can check the spacing before ordering.
Is there a design for a child care nurse on a baby onesie?
There is one baby onesie design for this word. It suits a new parent who is also a child care nurse, or a family that wants a nod to the work the nurse does.
When is a good time to order for National Nurses Week?
National Nurses Week falls in May each year. Order a few weeks ahead if you're buying for a whole unit so the shirts arrive in time.
Can I order shirts for my whole team at once?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the child care nurse shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a child care nurse gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
