Gifts from Chualar
Chualar is a small farming town in Monterey County, California, in the Salinas Valley, and the people who grew up there tend to carry it with them for life. A shirt with the town name is how someone who left years ago lets everyone know where they're from, and it's a good fit for a longtime resident who has never needed a souvenir to prove it. Because the town is small, the name itself does most of the work, and a simple design often reads cleaner than a busy one. A Chualar hoodie suits cool mornings in the valley, a mug suits the kitchen table, and a kids tee or onesie can start a family tradition before the child can read the word on it. If you're not sure what the place means to them, ask a question about the town first; the gift will land better for it.
Chualar gift questions
Can I add a second line to a Chualar design?
Many designs have a second line for a year, a street, a family name or a nickname. Open a design and type it in, and the preview will update so you can check the spacing before you order.
Is there a Chualar design for kids?
Yes. Kids T-shirts, kids dark T-shirts and baby onesies all come in Chualar designs, so you can match a child to the adults in the family.
What should I put on a Chualar gift if I've never been there?
Keeping it to the town name is the simplest choice. If you know a family name, a year they lived there or a nickname the town uses, that personal detail will mean more than anything else on the shirt.
What sizes do the chualar shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a Chualar gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
