Gifts from Civic Center
Civic Center is a place name that usually points to a city's main hall, the arena or convention space where concerts, graduations, trade shows and community events happen. The person who'd receive this gift might be a local who's been to a hundred events there, someone who works in the building, or a former resident who still thinks of it as home base. What lands is a shirt or mug that treats the place as a real part of their life rather than a generic souvenir. Put the Civic Center name on the main line, then add the city, the neighborhood or the year they moved in or first went to a show. For a hoodie, a second line with their name turns it into something they'd wear on the drive over. A mug works well for the coffee routine of someone who commutes past the building every morning. Since Civic Center is a common name across many cities, check the second line so the design says exactly which one you mean.
