Picking a gift for a civil drafter
Civil drafters turn engineers' sketches and survey notes into the plans that get roads, pipes and buildings built, usually at a desk with a stack of sheets and a CAD screen that never seems to stop updating. They know the difference between a clean set of sheets and one that will cause a field crew a headache, and they tend to care about that more than anyone realizes. A gift that acknowledges the work lands well: a hoodie for the cold office or the job-site trailer, a tee for the weekend, or a mug for the drafting table where the coffee goes cold while they check a dimension. Put the title on it, and add a line for their firm or a year they started, so it reads as theirs and not as a generic office joke. Personalizing it is the easy part. Type the title into the text box, check the preview, and the shirt or mug is ready to go.
Civil Drafter gift questions
Can I add a company name or a year to a civil drafter design?
Many designs have a second line for a name, a year or a firm. Open any design, type your text in the box, and the preview updates so you can check the spacing before you order.
Is civil drafter a credential?
Civil drafter is a job title rather than a license. If they hold a specific certification, you can add it as a second line, such as their credential, so the design matches what they've earned.
What's a good gift for a new civil drafter?
A tee or hoodie with their title and start year marks the start of the job. It's useful on the first day and something they'll keep wearing as they settle in.
What sizes do the civil drafter shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a civil drafter gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
