Picking a gift for a classroom teacher
Classroom teachers spend their days managing thirty small personalities, planning lessons around the one kid who's struggling, and somehow still finding time to tidy up before the next bell. What lands with them is a gift that acknowledges the work without making it sappy. A soft tee they can wear to the school carnival, a hoodie for the chilly mornings before the heat kicks on, or a mug that's unmistakably theirs for the first coffee of the day, which is usually drunk lukewarm at 9 a.m. Make it personal by adding their grade level, a subject, or the school year, so it reads as something written for them specifically. If you're buying for a whole staff room, the Team Shop lets you put each teacher's name on their own shirt from one design, which beats another box of donuts. Teacher Appreciation Week falls in early May, and end-of-year gifts are most popular in late spring, so order a few weeks ahead.
Classroom Teacher gift questions
Can I add a subject or grade level to a teacher shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type a subject, grade or school year under the main word and check the spacing in the live preview before you order.
When is Teacher Appreciation Week?
It's held in the first full week of May in the US. Because it's a popular time to order, give yourself a few extra weeks if you're buying for a whole staff.
Is there a gift for a teacher who's leaving the school?
A mug or tee with their name and the school year is a good send-off. You can also add the name of the school or the grade they taught if you want it to mark their time there.
Can I order shirts for my child's whole grade-level team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the classroom teacher shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a classroom teacher gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
