Picking a gift for a clinical partner
A clinical partner is the person who takes students, residents or new hires under their wing during a clinical rotation. They spend long days teaching on the floor, answering the same questions twice, and quietly making sure a new clinician leaves competent and confident. The gifts that land are the ones that acknowledge that mentoring work. A tee or hoodie with the words clinical partner on it reads as a title they earned, and a mug on their desk gives them a daily reminder that their teaching matters. If you're buying for a group of preceptors, the Team Shop lets you pick one design and paste everyone's names, so each person gets a shirt with their own name on it. Add their unit or department on a second line if you want it to feel specific to their hospital or clinic. Mentors often get thanked at the end of a rotation or a training cohort, so a gift that arrives then tends to be the one they keep.
