Picking a gift for a comic illustrator
A comic illustrator spends long hours at a drawing desk, often late at night, inking panels and fussing over a single expression for an hour. The gifts they tend to keep are the ones that treat the work as real work. A soft tee for sketching sessions, a hoodie for the chilly studio, a mug that's clearly theirs so the cold coffee on the drawing table isn't a mystery. What lands best is anything that nods to the craft itself. Add a second line with the thing they draw, a book title or a series they're working on, or simply the word illustrator in the design. If they sell prints or work for a publisher, a shirt with their studio or a signature line makes it personal. It's a gift that says you know they're not just doodling for fun.
Comic Illustrator gift questions
What can I add to a comic illustrator shirt?
Many designs have a second line for a name, a studio, a series title or a year. Type it in and the preview updates before you order.
Is there a design for a comic illustrator who also writes?
Yes, the word comic illustrator is set in each design, so you can add writer or creator on a second line if that fits their work.
What's a good gift for someone just starting out in comics?
A mug or tee with their name and comic illustrator makes a encouraging gift for a first published page or a first convention table.
What sizes do the comic illustrator shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a comic illustrator gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
