Picking a gift for a commodity director
A commodity director usually spends the day balancing supplier contracts, forecasts and the quarterly numbers, then gets pulled into a meeting about something that changed overnight. The gifts that land for this job are the ones that acknowledge the work without making a big fuss over it. A soft tee for the weekend, a hoodie for the early flights and cold conference rooms, or a mug for the desk where the spreadsheets live. Type their title into the text box so the shirt or mug says exactly what they do. If they're a director at a company with a known credential, add it only if they actually hold it; otherwise leave it off. A second line works well for a department, a team or the year they took the role. The result is something they'll wear to the office on a Friday and keep on the desk long after the reorg.
