Picking a gift for a communication spec
A communication specialist is the person who makes sure the message lands, whether that's a press release, a campus crisis notice, a brand launch or the internal memo nobody wants to write. Their days are a mix of drafting, editing, meeting with leaders who want things said a certain way, and fielding questions from people who saw a headline and want the story behind it. A gift that acknowledges the craft tends to land best. A hoodie they can wear to a long week of deadlines, a tee for the weekend, or a mug for the desk where they draft everything from the first sentence to the last. Use their exact title, comm specialist or communication specialist, and add the team or department they work in if you know it. Keep the design plain and let the word do the talking, since people in this line of work notice when something is overdone. If they have a credential or a certificate they earned, you can add that as a second line, but only if it's theirs to claim.
Communication Spec gift questions
Can I add a team name or department to the design?
Many designs have a second line. Type the team or department there, and the preview will show you how it sits under the title before you order.
Is there a shorter version of the title?
The designs use the word exactly as you type it, so you can try comm specialist or communications specialist in the text box and compare them in the preview.
Can I get shirts for a whole communications team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste each person's name, and pick a size for each one. Every shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the communication spec shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a communication spec gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
