Picking a gift for a configuration management advisor
A configuration management advisor keeps track of what's running where, which version is approved, and why the last change broke something on a Tuesday. It's detail-heavy work that rarely gets thanked out loud, so a gift that acknowledges the craft tends to land. Many of these advisors came up through IT operations, software release or systems administration, and they often spend their days in change tickets, baselines and audit trails. A tee or hoodie with their title on it gives them something to wear to the office, the conference or the weekend project where nobody asks what they do. A mug with their name is a small daily reminder that their work has a name. Add their title in the second line, or a team or project name if they'd like it, and the shirt reads as theirs rather than a generic job tee. Check the spelling of their title against what they actually use at work before you order, since job titles vary between companies.
Configuration Management Advisor gift questions
Can I put a job title longer than a few words on a shirt?
Yes, most designs have room for a longer line. Type it into the text box and the live preview will show you how it fits before you order.
Should I use the formal title or a shorter version?
Use whatever they say on their own business cards or email signature. If the formal title is long, a shorter form like config advisor or CM advisor may read better on a shirt.
What's a good gift for someone who just earned a certification in this field?
A hoodie or tee with their name and the credential they earned is a good choice. Confirm the exact name of the credential first, and if you're unsure, write their credential instead.
Is there a version of this design for kids?
Kids tees and dark kids tees are available for this word, which is useful if the advisor's child wants to match them at a family event.
What sizes do the configuration management advisor shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a configuration management advisor gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
