Gifts from Corrales
Corrales is a village in Sandoval County, New Mexico, on the Rio Grande just north of Albuquerque, known for its acequias, old adobe homes and cottonwood-lined lanes. People who grew up there or moved back often carry that small-village pride, and a Corrales shirt is a quick way to say where home is. Pair the town name with a second line for the year they moved in, the street they grew up on, or the school they attended, and it becomes something more personal than a souvenir. Hoodies suit the cool New Mexico evenings, and a mug works well for someone who misses the morning view of the bosque. If the shirt is going to a transplant, the name of the village is often the first thing they'll want to see again.
