Picking a gift for a councilor
A councilor spends evenings in committee rooms, reads packets of zoning maps and budget memos, and fields calls from neighbors who want a pothole fixed by morning. The gifts that land with them tend to be the ones that acknowledge the long hours without making a joke of them. A soft tee for the drive to the next meeting, a hoodie for the cold walk to the parking lot after a late vote, or a mug for the first coffee of a day that will be mostly phone calls. Because councilors serve a particular place, the word alone is only half the story. Put their district or ward on the second line if you know it, or their city's name, and the gift starts to read as theirs. You can also type a year they were first elected, which is the kind of detail people in public service tend to remember. Keep it sincere and simple; a councilor will wear something that shows you noticed the work.
Councilor gift questions
Can I add their district, ward or city to the design?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so type the ward, district or city there and check the preview before you order.
Is there a gift for a councilor who just took office?
A mug or tee with their title and the year they were sworn in is a good choice. It marks the start of their term in a way they can keep.
Can I order for a whole council or staff?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: pick one design, paste the names, and choose a size for each person so everyone gets their own shirt.
What sizes do the councilor shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a councilor gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
