Picking a gift for a cruise director
A cruise director is the person who keeps a ship's guests entertained from the first embarkation to the last sail-away, running trivia, shows, pool games and the nightly announcements over the speakers. They're usually on their feet from early morning until well past midnight, and they're often the first face a passenger sees when they step aboard and the last one they wave at on the way off. A gift that acknowledges that energy and that long contract at sea lands well. Put cruise director on a tee they can wear on their own days off, or on a mug for the tiny cabin coffee station before the morning briefing. Adding the name of the line they work for, or the ship, makes it theirs, though check that the line is spelled the way they spell it. Their own name on the design marks it as personal rather than a company giveaway.
Cruise Director gift questions
Can I add the cruise line or ship name to the design?
Many designs have a second line for a name, a year or a place. Type the ship or line there and check the preview before you order.
Is a cruise director a good gift for a retirement?
Yes. A tee or mug with their title and a retirement year marks the end of a long career at sea in a way that reads as theirs.
Can I order for a whole activities team?
Yes. The Team Shop lets you choose one design, paste a list of names and pick a size for each person, and every shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the cruise director shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a cruise director gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
