Gifts from Danforth
Danforth is a neighborhood in Toronto, the stretch of Danforth Avenue that people in the city call the Danforth, known for its restaurants and busy patios. Whoever you're buying for is probably a resident who loves the street, or someone who grew up near it and misses it from far away. A Danforth shirt is a quick way to say where they're from without a long explanation. Because the name is also used for other places, it's worth asking which Danforth they mean before you order, and many designs have a second line where you can add a street, a year or a nickname. For someone who's moved away, a mug or hoodie with the neighborhood name is a small daily reminder. For a long-time local, a tee with the name and the year they moved in is more personal than any souvenir from a shop.
