Gifts from Danube
Danube is the river that runs through Vienna, Budapest, Bratislava and Belgrade, so a Danube shirt usually belongs to someone with a connection to central or eastern Europe. Maybe they grew up on its banks, maybe they spent a year studying in Vienna, or maybe they still talk about the boat trip they took through Budapest. It's a name with a little romance to it, the kind a traveler or a history lover will recognize right away. Since the word is a river rather than a city, the best personal touch is the place it meant to them: add the city, the year of the trip, or a line from a favorite song. A hoodie suits a river-town walk along the water in cooler months, and a mug covers the morning coffee ritual. If you're not sure what they'd want, a plain Danube design with a city name on the second line is a safe, thoughtful choice.
Danube gift questions
Which Danube design should I pick if I'm not sure what it means to them?
A plain Danube design is a good starting point. You can add a city or a year on the second line if you know the connection, or leave it off if you don't.
Can I add a city name to the Danube shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line for a city, year or place. Type it in and the preview will update so you can check it.
Are there Danube designs for kids or babies?
Yes. Kids tees and a baby onesie are available for this word. Use the product filter to see them.
What if the person grew up near the river?
Add their hometown on the second line. Shirts and mugs like this often mean more when they name the place the person actually knows.
What sizes do the danube shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a Danube gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
