Picking a gift for a day care director
A day care director runs a small world of their own: staff schedules, parent calls at seven in the morning, licensing paperwork, and a building full of kids who think the director is the most important person alive. Their days are loud and full, and the gifts they keep tend to be the ones that make a long shift feel recognized. A soft tee for the drive in, a hoodie for the chilly mornings of drop-off, a mug that's clearly theirs so it survives the staff room. What lands best is the detail that shows you know the job. Put their name on it, or the center's name if they're proud of it, and add the role itself so it reads as day care director rather than a generic teacher tee. Many designs also come as kids tees and baby onesies, which works well if the director's own kids or grandkids want to match. A good time to order is late in the school year or during teacher appreciation week, when the center is busiest and a little thanks goes a long way.
Day Care Director gift questions
Can I add the name of the center to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type the center's name there or use it in place of their personal name.
Are there designs for the director's own kids?
Kids tees, dark kids tees and baby onesies come in a smaller set of designs, so you can match the family in a way that suits the whole household.
Can I order for all the teachers at once?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste each person's name, and pick a size for each one.
When is a good time to order?
Teacher appreciation week in early May and the end of the school year are the busiest times, so order a couple of weeks ahead if you need it by a specific date.
What sizes do the day care director shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a day care director gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
