Picking a gift for a db2 dba
A DB2 DBA spends a lot of time keeping data available, backups verified and performance tuned while nobody thinks about the database at all, until something breaks at two in the morning. The gifts that land with them tend to be practical and a little nerdy: a comfortable tee or hoodie for the long on-call stretches, a mug for the desk where the coffee goes cold during a tablespace reorg. Putting the job title on it is the obvious move, and it works, because the people who do this work rarely see their title printed anywhere. If you know their role more specifically, such as the team, the platform or the shift they cover, put that on the second line so the shirt says something about their actual work. Their credential, if they hold one, is a good addition too, as long as it's one they truly earned. A DBA who is a little proud of being the one who fixed it will appreciate a gift that quietly says their job matters.
Db2 Dba gift questions
Can I add their team or specialty to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type in their team, platform or specialty. Use the live preview to see how it looks before you order.
Can I add a credential like IBM Certified?
Yes, if they hold one. Type the credential on its own line or after the title. Only add certifications they have actually earned.
Is this a good gift for a new DBA?
It can be. A tee or mug with their title marks the start of the job, and a hoodie is handy for the first winter of late-night maintenance.
What if I'm buying for a whole database team?
Use the Team Shop. Pick one design, paste each person's name, and choose a size for each one so the team gets matching shirts.
What sizes do the db2 dba shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a db2 dba gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
