Gifts from De Funiak Spring
De Funiak Springs is a small city in the Florida Panhandle, the kind of place where people know each other and where a local shirt gets stopped and questioned on the sidewalk. Residents who've left for college or work often hold onto the hometown name, so a shirt or mug with the city on it is a way of saying where they're from. Its lake and historic downtown give locals plenty of reasons to be proud. For a gift, think about who's leaving, who's coming back, and who's raising a kid there. A hoodie suits the college student heading out for a cold semester, a kids tee lets a young family show off the place, and a mug works for the parent who misses home. You can add a second line for a street, a school year or a family name to make it theirs.
