Gifts from De Lancey
De Lancey is a name you'll mostly find on a map, not in a phone book. It belongs to a place rather than a person, so the gift you're shopping for is probably for someone who's from there, lives there, or has a soft spot for a town that doesn't show up on every postcard. Shirts and hoodies with the place name are the kind of thing people wear to the places they know by heart, and a mug lets them start their mornings with it. Since this is a small place name, a design with the name alone is often the strongest choice: it reads clean, and the person it's for will know exactly what it means. If you want to make it more personal, add a second line for a year they moved there, a street, or a family name, so it becomes a detail only the two of you would catch.
De Lancey gift questions
Is De Lancey a city, a town or a neighborhood?
The word works on its own for any kind of place. If you're unsure how the name is used locally, a quick check of a map or the person's own description will tell you the right way to phrase the second line.
Can I add a year or a street to the design?
Many designs have a second line. Type a year, a street or a family name there and the preview will update so you can check the layout.
Which product is best for a kid who lives there?
The kids tees and the baby onesie come in lighter colors and sizes made for children, so they're a good fit for a young person from the area.
Can I order one design for a group of friends from there?
Yes. The Team Shop prints one design for everyone in a group: paste the list of names and pick a size for each person.
What sizes do the de lancey shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a De Lancey gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
