Gifts from De Smet
De Smet is a small town in eastern South Dakota, the kind of place where people know each other and the high school team is a big deal. Someone who grew up there and moved away tends to hold onto it, and a De Smet shirt is an easy way to say where they're from. It works well for a return visit, a family reunion or a homecoming weekend, when the whole town seems to come out at once. For the one who left, a De Smet mug on the kitchen counter in another state can be a small daily reminder of home. For someone who still lives there, a hoodie for cold mornings is practical and proud at the same time. You can add a second line for a year, a graduating class or a family name to make the piece feel like theirs.
