Gifts from Des Allemands
Des Allemands is a small town in St. Charles Parish, Louisiana, along Bayou des Allemands, and people who grew up there often carry that bayou with them wherever they go. A shirt with the town name is the easy way to say where you're from, whether that's a trip back for a family crawfish boil or a dorm room hundreds of miles away. Because it's a small place, the people who know it tend to really know it, so a design that sticks to the town name, with no guesses at local details, feels right. For someone who's moved away, a mug with Des Allemands on it works on the morning commute and reminds them of home. For a kid who's just starting to claim where they come from, a kids tee or a baby onesie can start that tradition early. Choose the design that suits the person, add a second line with a year or a family name if you like, and the gift becomes theirs.
Des Allemands gift questions
Can I add a year or family name to a Des Allemands design?
Many designs have a second line. Type a year, a family name or a street in that line and the preview will update so you can check it before you order.
Is Des Allemands a common name for shirts?
It's a town name, so the designs use the place name itself. If you want a different place, every town has its own page and you can type any name into a design.
Which product works best for someone who moved away?
A mug is a good everyday reminder, and a tee or hoodie lets them wear it out. Pick based on whether they'd rather see it at breakfast or on their chest.
What sizes do the des allemands shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a Des Allemands gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
