Gifts from Desdemona
Desdemona is a small town in Texas, and the people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. It's the kind of place where everybody knows which high school you went to and where your grandparents worked. A shirt with Desdemona on it is how someone who left the town keeps a piece of it, whether they're living in Dallas now or still driving back for holidays. Because the name is a little unusual, a Desdemona design also works as a conversation starter, and the second line lets you add a year, a street or a nickname that means something only to them. For a hometown gift, a mug or hoodie feels personal, and a baby onesie is a sweet way to pass the name to the next generation.
Desdemona gift questions
Can I add a year or a street to the design?
Many designs have a second line. Type a year, a street or a nickname there and the preview will update so you can check the spacing before you order.
Is Desdemona a common name for a town?
It's an uncommon place name, so designs use the word exactly as written. If you know a local detail the recipient cares about, the second line is the place to add it.
What's a good gift for someone who grew up in Desdemona?
A tee, hoodie or mug with the town name, plus a second line for a year or nickname, works well. It's something they can wear or use every day back home or far away.
What sizes do the desdemona shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a Desdemona gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
