Gifts from Detour
Detour is a small, quiet town word, and the people who carry it tend to be locals who take the long way around on purpose. A tee that says Detour is a conversation starter for anyone who's ever had to explain where they're from, and it reads as a wink to the friends and family who know exactly what the place means to them. Because it's a short word, a single bold line on a light or dark shirt looks clean, and the second line is a good place for a year, a street, or a nickname the crowd uses. For someone who moved away, a mug with the word on it is a daily nod to home, and a hoodie works through the cold months for anyone who still spends weekends there. Check the preview to see how the word sits on the print area before you order.
Detour gift questions
Can I add a second line to a Detour design?
Many designs have a second line. Type a name, year, street, or nickname there and the preview will show how it sits under the main word.
Are there Detour designs for kids?
Yes. Detour comes on kids tees, dark kids tees and baby onesies. Use the product filter to see which designs are available for each.
Is Detour a real place, and does the design refer to anything specific?
The designs use the word itself with your own text, so they don't refer to any official sign, business or event. If you know the town well, the second line is the best place to add the detail that makes it personal.
What sizes do the detour shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a Detour gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
