Picking a gift for a diagnostic imaging director
A diagnostic imaging director runs the department that produces the scans everyone else depends on: X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and the schedule that keeps all of them moving. Most days they're balancing staffing gaps, equipment uptime, and a queue of physicians waiting on reads, while still making sure patients get through the door on time. A gift that acknowledges that job lands better than a generic work shirt. Put their title on it, or add the modality or hospital unit they oversee, and it becomes specifically theirs. A dark tee works well for the person who lives in scrubs and fleece, while a mug suits the office where they hold budget meetings and staff check-ins. If you're recognizing a whole department, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's name on their own shirt, which is a good way to mark a milestone, a retirement, or a successful accreditation visit.
Diagnostic Imaging Director gift questions
Can I add a department or modality to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type in radiology, MRI, or the name of the imaging department before you order. The preview updates so you can check the layout.
Is there a shorter version of the title?
You can change the wording to match how the person introduces themselves, such as imaging director or director of imaging. Type the version you prefer and the design will update.
Can I order shirts for the whole imaging team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste the list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What's a good gift for a director who's retiring?
A mug or a dark tee with their title and the year they're retiring works well. It's a keepsake they can use every day and it recognizes the work they put into the department.
What sizes do the diagnostic imaging director shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a diagnostic imaging director gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
