Picking a gift for a diamond sizer
A diamond sizer is the person at the jewelry counter or grading lab who measures stones, checks cut proportions and sorts them into the right sizes and grades. It's careful, exacting work that happens under bright lights and loupes, and most people outside the trade have no idea it exists. A gift that acknowledges that precision tends to land well. Put the words diamond sizer on a shirt or mug and it becomes a small joke only the trade gets, which is part of the fun. For a hoodie, the cold of a vault or workroom is a good match. Add their shop name or the year they started and the gift becomes personal. Many people in the trade wear what they're given at work anyway, so a shirt they can wear on their day off feels like a real treat.
