Picking a gift for a die sinker
A die sinker cuts the mold that stamps metal parts, so their work lives in tight tolerances and long hours standing over a machine or a bench. Die sinking is a trade people usually learn on the job, through an apprenticeship or years of work beside someone who already knows the craft, which makes them a little quieter about their skill than they deserve. A gift that shows you noticed the work tends to land well. A tee for the shop floor, a hoodie for the cold morning drive, or a mug that's clearly theirs so it doesn't wander off the bench. Put die sinker on the front, then use the second line for their shop, their employer's town, or the year they started. That small personal detail is what turns a generic trade shirt into something they'll wear to the diner after the shift.
Die Sinker gift questions
Can I add a shop name or a year under die sinker?
Yes. Many designs have a second line. Type the shop name, a city or the year they started, and the preview will show you how it sits before you order.
Are there die sinker designs for a whole crew?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste the names of everyone on the crew, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
Can I get die sinker on a mug as well as a shirt?
Yes. There are 17 die sinker designs on 11 oz mugs, so you can match a shirt with a mug for the same person.
What sizes do the die sinker shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a die sinker gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
