Picking a gift for a director apps
Directors of apps usually sit between engineering, design and the business side, which means they spend their days translating between people who speak different languages about the same product. They're juggling roadmaps, release dates and whatever the latest user feedback is, often from a laptop in a meeting room or on a train home. A gift that acknowledges that role lands well. A dark tee is a practical pick for a job that involves a lot of late-night launch nights, and a hoodie covers the cold office and the video calls from the couch. A mug on the desk is a small daily reminder that someone noticed what they do. Add a second line with a team name, a product name or the year they took the role, and it stops being a generic job shirt and becomes theirs.
