Picking a gift for a director brain
A director brain usually belongs to someone who holds a whole project in their head at once: the schedule, the budget, the three people who disagree about the lighting, and the deadline that moved again. They tend to be the one who is still thinking about the next scene after the wrap party, and they rarely stop to buy themselves anything. That makes a gift that acknowledges the job feel like a small win. A tee or hoodie with director brain on the front is a joke they'll recognize, and it works for a film set, a theater production, an ad agency or a team that just shipped something big. A mug fits the early call time, when the first coffee is the only thing keeping the schedule on track. Add a second line for their title, their production, or the year you worked together, and the shirt stops being a generic joke and becomes theirs.
Director Brain gift questions
Can I add a production or project name to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line. Type the production name, the film title or the year there, and the preview will show you how it fits before you order.
Is director brain a common job title?
It's more of a playful phrase than a formal title, so it works best as an inside joke among people who work in film, theater or creative teams. If they hold a specific title, add that on the second line instead.
Can I order shirts for the whole crew?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the director brain shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director brain gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
