Picking a gift for a director broadcast
A broadcast director sits in the control room during a live show and calls the shots while everyone else watches the monitors. They juggle cameras, cues, graphics and a clock that never stops, often on a headset with a dozen people talking at once. A gift that shows you understand that pressure lands well. A shirt or hoodie with their title is the obvious start, and it's the one they'll wear to a shoot, a remote production or a crew dinner. A mug works for the early-call mornings when the coffee has to do the work. The best version is the one that fits their own setup: add the show name, the network or station, or the year they started, if you know it. Keep the text short and let the shirt do the rest. Whatever they direct, they're the person who keeps everyone calm when the feed goes dark, so a gift that's simple and sturdy suits them well.
Director Broadcast gift questions
Can I add the show name or station to the design?
Many designs have a second line. Type the show, station or network there and the preview will update so you can check the spacing before ordering.
Is broadcast director a common job title for shirts?
Yes, it's a recognizable title in TV and film production, so the designs read clearly to others in the industry.
Can I order shirts for a whole production crew?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: pick one design, paste the crew's names and choose a size for each person.
What if their title is slightly different, like technical director?
Type the exact title you want into the text box. The designs will update to show the wording you enter.
What sizes do the director broadcast shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director broadcast gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
