Picking a gift for a director card
A director card is the piece of plastic that carries a director's ID or membership, and for the people who hold one, it usually means they've been trusted with a seat at the table. Whether that's a board seat, a studio credential, or a leadership role at a company, it comes with long meetings, early mornings and a lot of other people's deadlines. A gift for them lands best when it acknowledges the job without being a joke about it. A tee for the commute, a hoodie for the late nights in the office, or a mug for the first coffee before the calendar fills up all work well. Use the second line for their title, their company or their year, and the design stops being generic and becomes their own. If you're buying for a whole leadership team, the Team Shop lets you pick one design and print each person's name on their own shirt.
Director Card gift questions
What is a director card?
It's a card that identifies someone as a director, often for a board, a studio, or a company role. Designs use the phrase as a playful nod to the title.
Can I add their name or title to the design?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type their name, department or year there and check the preview before you order.
Is there a version for kids or babies?
There are a few kids tees and one baby onesie with the design, which is handy if the director in your life is also a parent with a sense of humor.
What sizes do the director card shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director card gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
