Picking a gift for a director career services
A director of career services spends the year helping other people land their first job, their next job, or the job they've been quietly dreaming about. They run résumé reviews, mock interviews, employer fairs and late-night calls with students who just got rejected. Most of the thanks they get is brief and grateful but forgotten by Monday, so a gift with their title on it tends to stick. A tee or hoodie with Career Services Director printed on it reads as a badge of the work they do, and a mug with their name works well on the desk where they write recommendation letters. If you want it to feel personal rather than generic, add the name of their school or department on the second line, or the year they started, so it reflects their own path. For a whole office, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each colleague's name on their own shirt.
