Picking a gift for a director collection
Directors juggle a lot of people and a lot of deadlines, and most of them would rather be on set or in the room than thinking about what to wear. The gifts they actually use tend to be the ones that acknowledge the work: a tee for the long shoot days, a hoodie for the cold early call times, a mug for the stack of notes at the edge of the desk. Whether they direct film, theater, television, a school play or a nonprofit's annual event, the word director carries a bit of pride, so a shirt that names their title tends to feel like recognition rather than a joke. You can make it theirs by adding a second line for their name, the production they're proudest of, or the year they finished their first feature or season. A director collection piece sits well with the other people they work alongside, and it reads as warm rather than corporate when the design has a personal touch.
Director Collection gift questions
Can I add their name or a production title to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line for a name, a year, or a production title. Type it in and the preview updates so you can check the spacing before you order.
Is this a good gift for someone who works in theater as well as film?
It works for either. The word director covers stage and screen alike, so the design fits a theater director as easily as a filmmaker. Add their company or a show name if you want it more specific.
Can I order matching shirts for a whole production crew?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste the names of everyone on the crew, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the director collection shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director collection gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
