Picking a gift for a director communications
A director of communications usually spends the day juggling press inquiries, leadership messaging, and the next crisis that lands at four in the afternoon. They're the person who writes the statement everyone else has to approve, and they're often the last one to take a real lunch. What tends to land with someone in this role is a gift that acknowledges the work without turning it into a joke about spin. A hoodie they can wear to the early-morning call, a mug for the first coffee before the inbox fills up, or a tee for the weekend they finally switch off. Put their title on it, director communications, and add the organization or team in the second line if you know it. You can also add a year, like the year they took the role, to mark a milestone worth remembering.
Director Communications gift questions
Can I add a team or organization name under the title?
Yes. Many designs have a second line. Type the team, department, or organization name there and check the preview before you order.
Is there a version that just says communications?
Yes, several designs use shorter wording. Search or browse the designs to compare the exact text and layout.
What's a good gift for a director who's just been promoted?
A hoodie or mug with their new title and the year they got it works well. It marks the step up and is something they can use every day.
Can I get matching shirts for a communications team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop to pick one design, paste the team's names, and choose a size for each person, so everyone gets their own name printed.
What sizes do the director communications shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director communications gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
