Picking a gift for a director community development
A director of community development usually spends their days in meetings about housing, zoning, grants and neighborhood plans, then ends up at a ribbon cutting or a public hearing where they're the one who has to explain why the project matters. That mix of paperwork and face time is what makes a gift for them land. A tee or hoodie with their title is a fun nod to the job, and a mug is the kind of thing that lives on a desk through budget season. To make it theirs, add a second line for their city, town, county or agency name, or the neighborhood they've spent the most years working in. A shirt that says Director of Community Development and the place they serve tells the story of their work better than a generic office gift ever could.
Director Community Development gift questions
Can I add a city or agency name under the title?
Yes. Most designs have a second line. Type the city, county or department name there and the preview will update so you can check the spacing.
Is there a specific day to celebrate community development workers?
There isn't a single widely recognized day for this role, so a gift works well at any time of year, such as a promotion, a retirement or the end of a big project.
Can I order shirts for my whole department?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
Are there designs for kids in the family?
Kids tees come in a smaller selection of designs. Use the product filter on the page to see which ones are available for this title.
What sizes do the director community development shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director community development gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
