Picking a gift for a director credit
A director credit is the line that lands at the end of a long shoot, a late edit or a final cut that finally works. Whoever earned that credit has probably spent months on location, in editing bays, or in front of a monitor arguing about one shot, and they rarely get to see their own name in a way that feels like a trophy. A shirt or mug with the words director credit is a small, wearable version of that moment. Because the title is a bit of an in-joke among people who make films, shows, commercials or videos, the best gift shows you know what the job takes. Put it on a dark tee for the set, a hoodie for the cold early call times, or a mug for the editing suite where coffee is the real crew. Add a second line for their name or the project title if you want it to feel completely theirs.
Director Credit gift questions
Can I add the project title or their name under director credit?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type a name, a project title or a year there. The live preview lets you check the spacing before you order.
Is director credit a common title for a gift?
It's most often used by people in film, television, commercials and video production, and it's a fun in-joke for anyone on a crew. It works well as a surprise for someone who just finished a project.
Can I order shirts for the whole crew?
Yes. Use the Team Shop to pick one design, paste the names of everyone on the crew, and choose a size for each person so every shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the director credit shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director credit gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
