Picking a gift for a director custom
Directors juggle a lot: budgets, schedules, actors who need reassurance, and crews who need direction, often all before lunch. The gifts that land with them tend to be practical and a little bit of a joke about the chaos. A tee for the set, a hoodie for the cold early call times, a mug for the first coffee that won't survive the morning. Directors of all kinds, whether theater, film, television or a corporate or nonprofit department, care about their title because they earned it. Putting director on a shirt says you noticed. Add the kind of work they do in the second line, like stage, film, or a specific department, and it becomes theirs. If you're buying for a whole production crew, one design with each person's name in the Team Shop is a better wrap party gift than another round of catering.
Director Custom gift questions
Can I add their specialty or production to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line. Type the kind of work they do, like stage, film or documentary, and the preview will show you how it sits under the title.
Is there a kids or baby version of a director design?
There are a few kids tees and a baby onesie in this design family. Use the product filter to see which ones are available.
What's a good gift for a director who just finished a big project?
A hoodie or mug with their title and the project name or year. It marks the milestone and is something they'll use long after the premiere.
Can I order shirts for everyone on the production?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the director custom shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director custom gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
