Picking a gift for a director equity
A director of equity usually works across departments, pushing for fair hiring, pay, and access to programs, and most of the job happens in meetings, reports, and hard conversations that rarely get thanked. A gift for them should acknowledge that the work is long and sometimes lonely. A comfortable tee they can wear to a community event or a weekend project, a hoodie for the early commute or a cold conference hall, or a mug for the office where the coffee gets cold while they're on a call. The title itself is a good personal detail: put director equity on the front and add their department, school, or organization in the second line so the shirt reflects where they actually do the work. Check the wording against their real job title first, since the role goes by different names at different places, and keep the text to what they'd actually want to say about their work.
Director Equity gift questions
Can I add their department or organization to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type the department, school, or organization there. The live preview shows how it will look before you order.
Is director equity the right title to use?
It depends on their actual job title. Organizations use different names for this role, so match the wording to what's on their business card or email signature.
What's a good gift for someone who just started this role?
A mug or tee with their title and start year works well. It marks the new job without being too formal for everyday use.
What sizes do the director equity shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director equity gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
