Picking a gift for a director general
A director general usually sits at the top of an organization, running a whole agency or department, juggling budgets, staff, and the constant pressure of decisions that reach well beyond their own desk. Their days are packed with meetings and briefings, and the evenings often belong to the paperwork that didn't fit in between. A gift that acknowledges that load tends to land well. A dark tee or hoodie gives them something comfortable for the weekends they actually want to relax, while an 11 oz mug is the everyday reminder that someone noticed the title they carry. Adding a second line with the organization or department name, or the year they took the role, turns a generic title into something specific to their career. If you're buying for a whole leadership team, the Team Shop lets you put each person's name on their own shirt from one shared design, which feels more personal than a standard farewell or anniversary card.
Director General gift questions
Can I add the organization or department name under the title?
Many designs have a second line for a department, agency, or year. Type it in and the preview will show how it sits under the title before you order.
Is director general a title that works well on a gift?
Yes. It's a senior public or corporate title, and designs with the full words read clearly on shirts and mugs. Check the preview to see how the length fits the design.
Can I use a shorter form like DG on the shirt?
You can type any wording you like into the text box. If the title has a common abbreviation in their organization, use the form they recognize from their own letterhead.
What if the title is a bit different where they work?
Type the exact title they use, including any variation in wording. Every design updates as you type, so you can make sure it matches before you order.
What sizes do the director general shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director general gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
