Picking a gift for a director gift
A director is the person who keeps a project, a show, a team or a school on schedule and on track, and they usually do it while fielding a dozen questions at once. Their days blur into meetings, late-night emails and the quiet satisfaction of a thing finally finishing. A gift that acknowledges that work lands well: something soft enough to wear on the long drive, a hoodie for the cold early mornings on set or in the office, or a mug that's clearly theirs so it doesn't wander off to the copy room. Add their title as the word on the front, and optionally a second line for their department, production, company or the year they took the role. That small personal touch makes the gift feel like it was written for them, not picked off a rack. Directors also tend to be the ones who remember everyone else's birthdays, so a thoughtful return gesture is always welcome.
Director Gift gift questions
Can I add a department or production name under the title?
Yes. Many designs have a second line. Type the department, show or company name there and the preview will update so you can check the spacing.
Is there a version for a film or theater director?
The director designs use the word itself, so you can pair it with the production title or theater name on the second line for a more specific feel.
What's a good gift for a new director?
A hoodie or mug with their title and the year they started. It marks the milestone and works as an everyday reminder of the new role.
What sizes do the director gift shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director gift gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
