Picking a gift for a director government
A government director usually sits between the people who write policy and the people who carry it out, which means they spend a lot of their week in meetings, reviewing budgets, and answering for decisions that aren't theirs. A gift for them should feel like it knows that. Something for the commute or the long days in the office, like a hoodie for the chilly conference room or a mug that's clearly theirs for the morning briefing, lands better than a generic work joke. Titles vary a lot between agencies, departments and levels, so the most personal option is to type in their exact title, such as Director of Parks or Government Relations Director, and let the design do the talking. If their role has a formal credential or certification, add it only if they actually hold it; otherwise a simple title and their name works well. Directors also tend to have a team behind them, so a Team Shop order with each person's name can make a good thank-you for a department that's been through a rough budget cycle together.
Director Government gift questions
What if their title is longer than the design allows?
Many designs have a second line you can use for part of the title, such as the department or division. Check the preview as you type to see how the text fits.
Can I add a credential like MPA or PMP?
Yes, if they hold it. Type it on the second line or after their name, and the preview will show you how it sits on the design.
Are there designs for different levels of government?
The designs are word-based, so you can type in any level or agency name, such as state, county, city or federal, and the design updates to match.
What's a good gift for a director leaving their post?
A mug or tee with their title and the year they served is a simple way to mark the moment without making it a big production.
What sizes do the director government shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director government gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
