Picking a gift for a director health
A director of health usually works at the level where public health gets decided: budgets, staffing, policy meetings and the constant pressure to do more with less. That's a long way from the clinic floor, so the gifts that land tend to be the ones that acknowledge the desk job and the late-night phone calls that come with it. A hoodie for the commute and the cold conference room, a mug for the first coffee before the budget review, or a tee for the health department's annual 5K or community fair. Add the title exactly as it reads on their badge, and if they lead a specific department or county, put that second line on the design. It turns a generic job gift into one that shows you know what they actually do.
Director Health gift questions
Can I put a department or county name on the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line. Type the department or county there and the preview will update so you can check the spacing.
What's a good gift for a health director who is retiring?
A mug or hoodie with their title and the year they're leaving works well. It marks the milestone and gets used long after the send-off.
Can I make matching shirts for a health department event?
Yes. Use the Team Shop to pick one design and paste a list of names. Each person picks their own size and gets a shirt with their name on it.
What sizes do the director health shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director health gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
