Picking a gift for a director housing
A director of housing usually runs residence life for a campus or a large property portfolio, which means they're the person residents call when the heat fails at 2 a.m. or a roommate dispute lands on their desk. Their days split between budgets, move-in weeks, maintenance calls and the steady work of keeping a community functioning. What tends to land best is a gift that acknowledges that mix of logistics and people. A hoodie is a good pick for the chilly walk across campus, and a mug is the one they'll reach for during the morning planning meeting. Adding their name or the institution's housing office on a second line makes it feel like it belongs to them rather than the department. If you're buying for a whole housing team, one design with each person's name on their own shirt is an easy way to say thanks for the long semester.
Director Housing gift questions
Can I add a department or campus name to a housing shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type the office, campus or unit name there and check the preview before ordering.
Is there a version for a director of housing with a name on the front?
Yes. Type their name into the text box, either alone or above the title, and the preview will show how it sits on each product.
What's a good gift for someone who just finished a busy move-in season?
A mug or hoodie with their title works well. It's something they can use every day and it marks the work they just got through.
What sizes do the director housing shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director housing gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
