Picking a gift for a director instructional technology
A director of instructional technology usually sits between teachers, IT staff and administrators, trying to make new tools actually stick in classrooms. Their days are full of training sessions, device rollouts, software reviews and the occasional tech emergency during a live lesson. Many spend more time on Zoom than anyone would like, and they often carry the quiet pride of seeing a hesitant teacher finally run a lesson with confidence. A gift that acknowledges that work tends to land well. A tee or hoodie with their title is practical for the district's long days, and a mug on their desk is a small nod to the many meetings they run. You can add their district or school on a second line, or a line like Ed Tech or Learning Tech, to make it feel like theirs rather than a generic title.
Director Instructional Technology gift questions
Can I add a district or school name under the title?
Yes. Most designs have a second line. Type the district, school or department there and the preview will show how it sits under the title.
Is there a shorter version of the title?
You can type any shorter version of the title into the text box, such as Instructional Tech or Ed Tech Director. The preview updates as you type.
Can I order shirts for my whole instructional technology team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste each team member's name, and pick a size for each person.
Is there a gift for the director that isn't clothing?
The 11oz mug is a good everyday option. It is a practical, desk-friendly gift for someone who spends most of the day in meetings.
What sizes do the director instructional technology shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director instructional technology gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
