Picking a gift for a director investigations
Directors of investigations usually work at the head of a fraud, compliance, internal affairs or corporate security team, deciding which cases get worked and how. They spend long days reviewing evidence, coordinating with outside counsel and law enforcement, and writing reports that have to hold up later. The gifts that land for them tend to be practical and a little understated, since most of their working life happens in conference rooms and on calls. A tee or hoodie for the weekend, or a mug for the first coffee before the day's first briefing, works well. Add their title, or the department name, so the piece reflects the work they actually do rather than a generic job slogan. If you're buying for a whole investigations unit, one design with each person's name on their own shirt makes a nice team gift for a promotion or a year-end celebration.
