Picking a gift for a director library
A library director usually started out shelving books or running a reference desk, then spent years in budget meetings, staff schedules and community board presentations. The gifts that land are the ones that acknowledge the whole path: a mug for the early morning before the first meeting, a hoodie for the cold building that always seems too chilly, a tee for the Friday when the branch finally gets to close early. Put the title on the design, and add the library's name or the branch if you know it, so it reads as theirs and not as a generic librarian shirt. A Library Director shirt also suits a retirement, a promotion or a farewell from the staff, because it marks what the person has built. If you're shopping for a whole team, the Team Shop lets you print one design with each colleague's name on their own shirt, which is a nice way to say thanks to the person who keeps the place running.
Director Library gift questions
Can I add the library name or branch to the design?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so type the library or branch name there and the preview will update so you can check the spacing.
Is there a version for a retiring director?
Yes. Several tee and mug designs work well for a retirement, and you can add the years of service or a farewell line on the second line.
Are there designs for kids or babies?
A kids tee and a baby onesie are available for this title, so you can match a family member who works in a library.
Can I order for a whole library staff at once?
Yes. Pick one design in the Team Shop, paste the list of names, and choose a size for each person.
What sizes do the director library shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director library gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
