Picking a gift for a director material
Someone described as director material is usually the person who already runs the meeting, fixes the schedule, and quietly covers for the boss when they're out. That's a lot of responsibility for a job title that doesn't exist yet, so a gift that acknowledges the ambition tends to land well. A soft tee or hoodie makes sense for the office, the commute, or a weekend project, and an 11 oz mug fits the desk where the real decisions get made. You can keep the wording simple and let the phrase do the work, or add a second line with the team, the department, or the year they took on a bigger role. The phrase reads as a compliment, so the shirt or mug should feel like one too.
Director Material gift questions
Can I add a title or department under director material?
Yes. Many designs have a second line for a title, team, or year. Type it in and the preview will show how it sits under the main word.
Is this a good gift for someone who just got promoted?
It works well for a promotion or a step up. The phrase acknowledges where they're heading without pretending the job is already theirs.
Can I order shirts for a whole team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
Do the designs work for people who aren't in an office role?
They do. The phrase is often used for anyone who organizes, leads, or keeps things running, so it fits volunteers, coaches, and parents too.
What sizes do the director material shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director material gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
