Picking a gift for a director materials
A director of materials usually sits at the center of a supply chain, keeping purchasing, inventory and suppliers moving so that production never stops waiting on a part. The job means a lot of early mornings on calls with vendors, careful weighing of cost against lead time, and the quiet satisfaction of a line that runs without a hitch. A gift that acknowledges that work tends to land well. A tee for the warehouse or the office, a hoodie for the cold dock mornings, or a mug for the desk where the spreadsheets live all say that you see what they do. Put the exact title on it, director materials, so it reads as theirs and not a generic office joke. If you're buying for a whole purchasing or operations team, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's name on their own shirt.
Director Materials gift questions
Can I add a name or company line to the design?
Many designs have a second line. Type a name, a site or a department there and the preview will update so you can check the spacing before ordering.
Are there designs for kids or babies too?
Kids tees and a baby onesie are available for this word, which is handy if a family member works in materials or supply chain and wants a matching piece.
Is there a version for a dark shirt?
Yes. Dark tees come in a separate set of designs, so pick one from the dark t-shirt options if the color suits their wardrobe better.
What sizes do the director materials shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director materials gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
