Picking a gift for a director merchandising
A director of merchandising spends the week juggling buys, markdowns, planograms and a calendar full of vendor deadlines, and most of that work happens out of sight. A gift that acknowledges the job, the late nights before a big season, the spreadsheets that finally balance, tends to land better than a generic office item. Think about where they actually spend their hours. An 11 oz mug fits the desk that's always covered in sample swatches and third cups of coffee. A hoodie is the right layer for the cold conference room and the early store walk-throughs. A dark tee works for weekends away from the screen. Adding their title, or a line like Buying and Planning, makes the piece theirs. If you're celebrating a promotion or a retail season that went well, put the year on it and it becomes a small record of the win.
Director Merchandising gift questions
Can I add a title longer than director of merchandising?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can use it for a shorter title like Merch Director or add a team or company line if you like.
What's a good gift for a merchandising director who just got promoted?
A mug or tee with their new title and the year they earned it is a simple, lasting way to mark the step up, and it suits both the office and weekends.
Can I order matching shirts for my merchandising team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste the team's names, and pick a size for each person, with each shirt printed with its own name.
What sizes do the director merchandising shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director merchandising gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
