Picking a gift for a director mfg
A manufacturing director runs the floor, the schedules and the people who keep the lines moving, usually while fielding calls about a late shipment or a machine that went down overnight. They tend to be on their feet in a plant more than behind a desk, and the gifts they keep are the ones that fit that life: a tee for the shop floor, a hoodie for the early-morning walk through a cold building, a mug for the office coffee that goes cold while they're solving someone else's problem. Their title is a good starting point. Director Mfg on a shirt is short, clear and sounds like the job, and it reads the way their team talks about them. If you want it to feel more personal, use the second line for their plant, their department or the year they took the role. A few years into a new job, that date can mean a lot.
